Abstract

In this article, a novel split-end stepped impedance resonator (SESIR) has been proposed to relocate its first spurious resonant frequency. A three-pole high temperature superconducting filter made up of SESIRs with a 0.4% bandwidth centered at 2423 MHz is developed. The filter has an extended stopband up to three times of the fundamental frequency. © 2008 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
