Abstract

The article reports that Microsoft Corp. has hired the advertising agency Crispin Porter & Bogusky to create and manage a $300 advertising campaign for its Windows series of computer software. The goal is to change Microsoft's stodgy image among computer users. The agency is known for its edgy advertising which helped change the image of well-known companies Burger King and Volkswagen.
