Building for the Future: The Mathematics of Architecture and Design.

The article focuses on a summer enrichment program sponsored by a faculty from Kean University in Union, New Jersey which enabled mathematics to be applied to real-life architecture and design. It states that the main objective of the program was to provide a professional development opportunity for both teachers and preservice teachers as well as to give accelerated learners a chance to have authentic hands-on experience on areas of data analysis, measurement and proportionality.
