- The article reports that Eliot Spitzer, New York Governor, has told senior advisers that he had been involved in a prostitution ring. Spitzer, a Democrat elected in 2006, was huddled with advisers and was scheduled to make an announcement. Aides to the governor declined to comment on the report.
