Twilight of the Monsters: The English Horror Film 1968-1975.

The article features several horror films in Great Britain from 1968-1975. One of the films that made a radical transformation of the horror genre is George Romero's "Night of the Living Dead." The victims in the film in several cases became themselves monsters, thereby muddying the distinction between the monstrous and the normal as well as locating terror in the everyday world.
