Abstract
- The article presents an integrated dualist theory of punishment. The theory's assumption is that the road to a satisfactory account of punishment's justifiability should start by examining with seriousness the common point of departure already noted. A differentiation between core and peripheral cases of punishment is explored. It discusses the justification of punishment by analyzing justification.
