Abstract
- The article offers information on the use of peroxides for palladium-catalyzed methylation of aryl C-H bond. A study was conducted to determine the Pd-catalyzed direct functionalizations of aryl C-H to form C-C bonds. The result of the study confirms the method for direct methylation of aryl C-H bonds by using peroxide compounds as both methylating reagents and hydrogen acceptor.
