Abstract

Perovskite materials possess a varied spectrum of properties and applications. This has ideal crystalline structure given by the formula ABO3. The perovskites with stoichiometric formulas A2BB'O6 or A3B2B'O9 are denominated complex perovskites. These materials have extensively studied because the flexibility in the variation of the lattice parameters permits to infer their possible application as substrates for the production of high temperature superconducting films. In this work we report the synthesis and characterization of the complex perovskite: Ba2TRMO6, where TR: Ho, Dy, and M=Nb, Hf, Sb, Zr. We study crystallographic, microestrutura and magnetic properties of this system by means EDX, DRX, SEM and magnetic susceptibility techniques, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
