SISTEMA PARA MEDICIÓN DE PÉRDIDAS AC EN SUPERCONDUCTORES.

The AC losses are the dissipated energy in the material per unit volume and per cycle of the applied magnetic field. They are associated to the imaginary part of the AC susceptibility. A setup was made for measuring the AC susceptibility in superconducting samples based on the compensed coils and Lock-in Amplifier method. This system allows as to measure the AC losses as function of temperature, amplitude and frecuency of the magnetic field for temperatures from ambient down to 65K.
