Criminal Law Legislation Update.

The article presents updates on criminal law in Great Britain. The Serious Crime Act of 2007, which received Royal Assent in October 2007, creates a new offense of assisting crime and changes the proceeds of crime regime. The Law Commission published the consultation paper "The High Court's Jurisdiction in Relation to Criminal Proceedings" to resolve difficulties in applying the exclusionary rule which states that the High Court cannot review matters relating to trial on indictment. A guideline on Fail to Surrender to Bail has been published.
