Abstract
- The article reports on the growth in congressional opposition to the selection of the Northrop Grumman/EADS entry in the U.S. Air Force aerial refueling tanker competition as of March 2008. Criticisms are expanding across party lines, state boundaries and economic fault lines. It started with complaints from members of the Washington and Kansas delegations, states where Boeing planned to manufacture its modified 767 tanker candidate.
