Abstract
- The article discusses the potential that British teachers' unions will strike in 2008 over issues related to pay and workload agreements. It is reported that the National Union of Schoolmasters/Union of Women Teachers (NASUWT) and the National Union of Teachers (NUT) are considering strikes to protest below inflation pay raises approved by the British government for teachers between 2008-2010. The NASUWT is also considering a strike to protest violations of the national workforce agreement.
