Abstract

The article presents a study on the efficiency of handheld computers in storing data on medicine. This study compared the completeness of data collection using paper forms and electronic forms loaded on handheld computers in an office-based patient interview survey which was held within the American Academy of Family Physicians National Research Network. It was established that these computers were not superior in storing information because of the presence of technical difficulties.
