IBM 'SMashes' Web 2.0 security risks.

The article reports on the launching of the SMash (secure mashups) by IBM and the security concerns it has to dealt with. According to Rod Smith, vice president of emerging technology at IBM, SMash allows information from different sources to interact but keeps them isolated so malicious code could not access into enterprise systems. It states that IBM contributed the technology to the OpenAjax Alliance company, an organization of vendors, open-source projects and firms using Asynchronous JavaScript and XML.
