Abstract
- The article reports on the 60th anniversary of al-Nakba, a commemoration for the Palestinian people of their displacement and dispossession as a result of their defeat in the 1948 Palestine war. According to the author, Nakba has cast its black shadow over the memory, the narrative, and the identity of the Palestinian community since it took place. The author emphasizes that as people reflect upon the significance of al-Nakba, the significance of Jerusalem should also be recognized and realize that the march of return starts from Jerusalem.
