Abstract: Information about several topics discussed at the workshops sponsored by the National Science Foundation (NSF) held in September 2006 at NSF headquarters in Arlington, Virginia is presented. Topics discussed include privacy, security,e-government and human-centered computing (HCC). It highlights the discussion of the role of regulations and directives and the integration of usability-related concerns into security and privacy issues.
