Abstract

The article focuses on child prodigy Alia Sabur, who is still shy of her 20th birthday, and is traveling to South Korea to take a teaching position at Konkuk University in Seoul. While at the university, Sabur will start her research in spectroscopy techniques and give lectures. Sabur is a doctoral candidate in materials science and engineering. The article explains that Sabur was a university student at 10, she had her bachelor's degree at 14, and her masters at 17. She is also a black belt in tae-kwon-do and a concert-level clarinet player, her debut was at the Rockland Symphony Orchestra.
