Textile Recycler Saved by Carpets.

The article focuses on the Vernon, California-based textile recycler Los Angeles Fiber, owned by Ron Greitzer. The carpet recycler got into business when its fiber reclaim business fell victim to migration of U.S. garment production overseas. Greitzer decided to convert his big investment in fiber-reclaiming machinery to processing waste carpets. A background of the idea behind the business which came from the baled garment waste is presented.
