Abstract
- The article reports that a survey of member firms conducted by the trade group the Direct Marketing Association found that the industry suffered an overall decline in revenue in the first quarter of 2008. This was considered especially worrisome, as direct marketing has long been thought to be relatively immune to weakened economic conditions.
