Abstract

The article presents a study conducted by Lars Berglund and colleagues which examines the exceptional strength of super-strong paper, a paper made from cellulose. The researchers had used a pulp and broke it using a device that exposes its cellulose. Then, they suspended the pulp fibers in the water. After the process, they removed the water using a vacuum filtration. Results indicated the 214 megapascal strength of the newly formed nanopaper.
