- Abstract: Axially chiral imine ligands derived from (R)-BINAM are effective chiral ligands in the Zn(OTf)2-promoted enantioselective Friedel–Crafts alkylation of indoles with nitroalkenes under mild conditions to give the corresponding adducts in good yields and moderate enantioselectivities.
