Reactions With Hydrazonoyl Halides 591: Synthesis and Antimicrobial Activity of 2,3-Dihydro-1,3,4-thiadiazole, Triazolino[4,3-a]pyrimidine, and Pyrimido[1,2-b][1,2,4,5]tetrazin-6-one Containing Benzofuran Moiety.

2,3-Dihydro-1,3,4-thiadiazole, triazolino[4,3-a]pyrimidine and pyrimido[1,2-b][1,2,4,5]tetrazin-6-one containing benzofuran Moiety were synthesized from C-benzofuran-2-yl-N-phenylhydrazonoyl bromides, and the appropriate alkyl arylidenehydrazinecabodithioates and pyrimidine-2-thione and N-aminopyrimidine-2-thione, respectively. All structures of the newly synthesized compounds were elucidated by elemental analysis, spectral data, and alternative synthetic methods whenever possible.
