Abstract

The article presents a study concerning the association between quality program components and superior worksite health management program. It examines the group differences in employee health assessment participation rates, organizational-level health risk reduction, and health coaching program participation and completion rates. It also demonstrates the contribution of quality program components to superior program engagement rates and health outcomes. It found that best-practice organizations achieved higher levels of engagement compared to common-practice organizations in health assessment and health coaching programs. The study shows that population-level health risk reduction was 2.35 times higher among best-practice organizations than with common-practice organizations.
