Abstract
- The article reports on the delivery of the first production of the EA-18G Growler aircraft on June 3, 2008. The U.S. Navy received the EA-18G growler at NAS Whidbey Island in Washington. According to Honorable Donald C. Winter, secretary of the Navy, the Growler was a quantum advance that makes the leap from electronic countermeasure (ECM) to electronic attack.
