Putin Stays Put.

The author reflects on the real democracy sought in Russian government now ruled by President Dimitry Medvedev. He argues on the traditional practices on presidential elections in Russia wherein appointments on government positions will be based on debts of gratitude. He also gave emphasis on the government suppressing their freedom of expression. An overview of the former President, Vladimir Putin's dictatorship is offered. The author left questions that will test the presidency of Medvedev.
