Abstract

The article reports that the U.S. Congress is facing pressure to settle climate change conflicts. According to the article, congressional members are willing to argue over the impact and costs of reducing carbon dioxide emissions. Members of the Congress argued about national security impacts, legislative approaches to reduce carbon dioxide, the cost of action and inaction and ways to meet future energy demands.
