Ceramic Design, Computers and Competitions.

The article focuses on the study of the usefulness of computer with CorelDRAW 6 in conceptualizing subject for the Kutani International Decorative Ceramics Competition '97 held in Japan. The competition has two main categories such as actual ceramic works and for designs on paper. The ceramic designs which conceptualized by CorelDRAW 6 has received an Award of Merit during the competition. The primary purpose of the event is to provide additional and modern beauty to the tradition of Kutani ceramics. CorelDRAW 6 is a computer design programs widely used by professional ceramic designers due to its suite of 32-bit graphics applications.
