Upset of Nacchio Conviction Gets Review.

Abstract: The article reports on the decision of a federal appeals court in Denver, Colorado to review a decision that overturned the insider trading conviction of former Qwest Communications International Inc. former chief executive officer (CEO) Joseph Nacchio. Nacchio was convicted in April 2007 for illegally selling $52 million of Qwest shares when he knew that the company was at risk. In March 2008, a Circuit Court of Appeals overturned the decision. According to the article, the prosecution considers the decision a victory.
