Abstract
- The article reports that the Commission on Presidential Debates chose news veterans to moderate the 2008 general election debates. PBS anchors Jim Lehrer and Gwen Ifill will host the presidential debate at the University of Mississippi on September 26 and the vice-presidential debate at Washington University in St. Louis on October 2 respectively. NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw will moderate the debate at Belmont University in Tennessee on October 7 while CBS News' Bob Schieffer will host the debate at Hofstra University in New York on October 15.
