Abstract

The article reports on the association between antiretroviral therapy with an atherogenic lipoprotein phenotype. It discusses the measurement of lipoprotein sublcasses by nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy in frozen plasma samples from participants in the Multicenter AIDS Cohort Study. The article examines the effects of HIV-1 infection, antiretroviral therapy and other factors on median particle concentration using quantile regression.
