Abstract
- The article reports on the plan of WeylChem Corp. to produce Grignard reagents at its industrial plant in South Carolina. Grignard reagents are used for carbon-carbon and carbon-heteroatom bond formation in the production of pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and polyfunctionalized products. The company's plan is attributed to the demand of its customers for the reagents.
