- Reports on the isolation of a cob(II)alamin reductase activity in Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium LT2 to homogeneity. Identification of NAD(P)H:flavin oxidoreductase (Fre) as the enzyme responsible for the activity; Inability of Fre to cause the generation of cob(I)alamin in vivo.
