Abstract

The article presents a study on the patterns of occurrence and concordance between subjective and objective hot flashes among Muslim and Hindu women in Sylhet, Bangladesh. This research evaluated the pattern of occurrence and the rate of concordance between objective hot flashes gauged by sternal skin conductance and the subjective experience of "gorom vap laga" among Muslim and Hindu women in this vicinity. Thirty women, aged 40-55, took part in this study.
