Abstract
- The article discusses the Indian art of sari draping. In the past, women wore dhotis just as men did. From the fourteenth century onwards, women's clothing started to develop in a different way from those of men. Most saris fit into families, which means they follow certain ways to drape. The article details the draping of the Dravidian and Tamil saris.
