Abstract

The article presents a case report of placenta percreta, which is a form of abnormal placentation, at weeks' gestation in a 32-year-old woman who underwent previous caesarean section. The patient was admitted to the medical institution due to continual bleeding following an elective abortion. It is noted that the patient's histology report showed placenta increta and percreta with placental implantation site into and through the previous hysterotomy incision with uterine rupture.
