Abstract

The article presents views regarding the significance of a sustainable retreat in preventing increasing economic violence. The indifference of governments to the overwhelming threat is shown in their vague talk about reducing carbon output. A government that was serious about meeting the climate change challenge would be exploring really effective policies.
