The article reports on the move of Serena Software Inc. to develop its service as a software (SAAS) offerings through the availability of its Mashups On Demand service in the U.S. According to René Bonvanie, the firm's senior vice president of global marketing, partnerships and online services, the new tool will not need a software installation to enable staff to build and deploy mashups quickly. In addition, it states that the company has added a Rich Interface Mashup feature to the product for users to drop and drag contraption as well as allows them to automate processes in solving business problems.
