Abstract
- The article describes an art item called "Earth and Its Inhabitants" displayed at the George Glazer Gallery in New York. Designed by Nuremberg globe-maker Carl Johann Sigmund Bauer, the piece is a colored lidded box. When lifted, inside are a small globe and an accordion of 56 cards representing various nationalities in their native costumes. George Glazer, the owner of the gallery, comments on the art piece.
