- Characterizes a source of superoxide anions in the kidney referred to as a renal NAD(P)H oxidase or renox. RNA hybridization's revelation that renox is highly expressed at the site of erythropoietin production in the renal cortex; Northern blot analysis and in situ hybridization; Cell culture and cell transfection.
