Abstract
- The article focuses on the comparative study conducted by Dr. Andrey Kovalev regarding the different uses of Zyoptix microkeratome and Hansatome microkeratome for LASIK flap creation. Kovalev asserts that a 120 µm flap created with Zyoptix shows faster re-epithelialization and better patient comfort compared with a 160 µm flap created with Hansatome. He concludes that the 120 µm flap allow the re-epithelialization faster in establishing a barrier against tear entry.
