Abstract

The article presents the text of a speech by professor H. K. T. Raza of NSCB Medical College in Jabalpur, India, delivered at the Indian Orthopaedic Association Conference (IOACON) in Kolkata on December 5, 2007, in which he discussed the establishment of the association, its development, and its plans and activities for the future.
