Abstract
- The article reports that Jacob Zuma, the president of South Africa's ruling African National Congress Party, said that South Africa will maintain its long-standing diplomatic policy on Zimbabwe and will not impose sanctions on the country. Zuma, the probable next president of South Africa said he will keep the country's fiscally disciplined policies despite a weakening global economy and a growing credit crisis. He states that the South African-brokered power sharing deal by Zimbabwe's ruling and opposition parties if the only acceptable plan.
