Abstract
- The article discusses the cease-fire agreement between Georgia and South Ossetia. Media outlets, after citing Russian ambassador-at-large Yury Popov, reported a cease-fire in the Georgian-South Ossetian conflict zone. An agreement has also been reached on a meeting between Georgian State Minister for Reintegration Temur Yakobashvili and deputy prime minister of the unrecognized republic of South Ossetia, Boris Chochiyev. South Ossetian President Eduard Kokoity was making a gesture of goodwill.
