Abstract
- The article discusses the possibility of the British Royal Air Force to be the first of three Boeing RC-135V/W Rivet Joint electronic intelligence aircraft to replace the capability provided by the Nimrod R1. A Defense Ministry official noted that no sale has been concluded and that Great Britain's expression of interest is purely an administrative measure to facilitate rapid procurement if required.
