Abstract

The article presents a study which examines if the organic compound selenium dichloride (SD) reacts with divinyl selenide (DS) and meets the expected six-membered heterocyclic compound. It states that SD is an assuring chemical agent for organic synthesis. It also concludes that SD reacts with DS to render a five-membered heterocyclic compound with eminent selectivity, and no six-membered heterocyclic compound was discovered in the reaction mixture.
