Abstract

An essay is presented about the role and purpose of public libraries. Many libraries are said to be willing to use any strategy to attract users. One public library offers a lot of videogames to attract teenagers. According to the author, libraries seem to have lost any coherent and compelling mission, embracing trends in order to remain popular.
