Abstract
- An essay is presented about the role and purpose of public libraries. Many libraries are said to be willing to use any strategy to attract users. One public library offers a lot of videogames to attract teenagers. According to the author, libraries seem to have lost any coherent and compelling mission, embracing trends in order to remain popular.
