Abstract
- The article focuses on the construction of a new coal-fired power plant in Louisiana. The plant was contracted with Emerson Process Management to provide 10 Rosemount Analytical PowerVue fan and damper actuators to control fans. PowerVue is expected to deliver 7,200 foot-pounds of torque. It notes that PowerVue and damper actuators are used at power plants, refineries paper mills and wastewater treatment. Meanwhile, Fieldvue provides diagnostics that can be displayed in control room.
