Abstract
- The article presents an overview of the methods which can be used to manage anticoagulated patients with atrial fibrillation who are at a high risk of stroke and who need coronary intervention. A discussion of research which has been done on side effects which are associated with therapeutics that are commonly used on atrial fibrillation patients is presented. Advice and information for physicians who are managing a patient with atrial fibrillation who is at a high risk of stroke and is in need of cardiac intervention is offered.
