Abstract
- Presents a study which discussed that fossil rodent middens and wetland deposits from the central Atacama Desert in Chile which indicate increasing summer precipitation, grass cover and groundwater levels. Use of tropics in global climate variability; Basis of the reconstruction of its history of vegetation change and groundwater fluctuations.
