Abstract

Discusses the postponement for closing the Large Electron-Positron (LEP) Collider in Switzerland, which has recorded four collisions in which explosive patterns hint at the presence of a Higgs particle. Expectation that the LEP will be closed for the construction of the Large Hadron Collider; Description of the Higgs boson theory and possibility of its existence; Explanation of the supersymmetry theory, which predicts multiple Higgs bosons.
